Security Bank USA Lumberjack Scramble
For more than three decades, the Lumberjack Scramble has brought together local businesses, community members, students, and volunteers for a day of golf, fun, and giving back. Sponsored by Security Bank USA since its inception in 1995, the tournament has become one of the area's most successful golf events.
 
All proceeds from the Lumberjack Scramble benefit the Lumberjack Foundation, helping support student activities and programs at Bemidji Middle School and Bemidji High School.
 
The impact of the Scramble:
  • 31 years of community support
  • $1,113,840 raised for the Lumberjack Foundation
  • 305 golfers participate annually
  • More than 200 volunteers from Security Bank USA, Bemidji Middle School, and Bemidji High School help make the event possible each year
One of the most rewarding aspects of the Lumberjack Scramble is the active participation of local students. Student volunteers play an important role throughout the day, including:
  • Caddies
  • Cheerleaders
  • Buy-A-Drive golfers
  • Course game attendants and ticket sellers
  • Drum Corps and Band members
  • Student Council representatives
Their enthusiasm and involvement help create a unique event.
